A little about us…

Welcome to the Johnstown Saddle Club of Berthoud, Colorado where adventure, fun and friendship all center around a love of horses. Whether you enjoy English Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Hunter Hack, Reining, Barrel Racing, or Pole Bending, JSC has something for every interest and experience level.

The Johnstown Saddle Club was formed in 1960 and the original arena was built by the Sheriff’s Posse. A lot has changed since the early days of the Johnstown Saddle Club, but one constant remains – horsemanship. Our mission is to keep the Johnstown Saddle Club traditions of the past and engage in the present and future with varied activities and events for horse owners and enthusiasts.

The Johnstown Saddle Club focuses on spreading fun and goodwill among horse owners. For more than four decades now, a group of equestrians from Northern Colorado have met at the JSC arena to socialize, talk about horses, compete in events and take part in activities designed to continue the equestrian sport which we love.

Our goal each year is to have fellowship with other riders (and non-riders alike), to foster safe equestrian activities and to offer opportunities to meet new riders as well as demonstrate our equestrian skills. We are always looking for new members to show that our equestrian family is alive and well in the community. We guarantee enough interesting events for everyone.
